Gotmerchant.com Service Fees

The amount you pay for credit card processing depends on how you receive the card from your customer– higher rates are charged to card-not-present transactions like internet purchases and mail order than for card-swipe transactions.  Rates range from 1.69% to 3.29% for retail merchants who swipe credit cards to process payments and 2.19% to 3.79% for internet, ecommerce and mail order merchants who key in the credit card transactions.

Other fees charged to Gotmerchant.com customers regardless of whether you are a retail merchant or internet/ecommerce/mail order merchant include a 25 cent batch fee, pin-debit card fees, a $10 monthly fee, a $25 monthly minimum, and a variable PCI Compliance fee.  Gotmerchant.com charges a cancellation fee for most accounts that cancel before the contract term; but exclusions and other terms apply.

Internet Merchant Accounts

When you need to accept credit cards online, you need an internet or ecommerce merchant account.  These accounts require an “internet payment gateway service”.  Gotmerchant.com uses Authorize.net Internet gateway service with real time processing, buy now buttons, and a virtual terminal that allows you to manually process credit cards via a secure form.

Large Volume Pricing

For business owners who process a large volume of credit card orders on a monthly basis, Gotmerchant.com offers Interchange Plus Pricing which saves larger businesses money on their credit card processing needs compared to the 3-tiered pricing that must merchants are billed under.

For 3-tiered pricing, you pay a rate based on qualified, mid-qualified or non-qualified transactions and the applicable Interchange rate.  When you qualify for the Interchange Plus Pricing plan, you pay the actual Interchange cost and a fixed markup on each transaction.
