Hi Brad. You need to include the form to your tax filings. If you don’t, the IRS will eventually find out. If you already filed your taxes and didn’t include it, you still have plenty of time to file an adjustment with the IRS.

I read on an article provided by 1099online.com that form 1099-k will be issued by Pay pal to its merchants. I had a question. I have earned income through Pay Pal. Will i receive form 1099-k?

We’ll see how well this does…, Google Checkout has barely punched into the market with only businesses from a few countries being able to use them as a payment processor.

TransFirst has a pretty bad reputation because of lack of transparency in how they charge their clients as well as those hefty cancellation fees that they impose. Losing your credit card processing contract is always a setback but I hope you will be able to go to another processor that appreciates their clients more!

I have had TransFist since 2003 I called to ask them a question and got a letter today saying they no longer take my kind of accounts even though I get way less than 1% chargbacks a month and have had no complaints

I don’t know about other merchants but we managed to lower our payment processing costs substantially due to the Durbin Amendment.
